Finance Leadership Program The program provides the participants with opportunities to experience first-hand the challenges that businesses face in the constantly changing and evolving global economy. It seeks to groom the group's future financial leaders through challenging financial decision-making assignments across the various sectors the Group operates in.
Program benefits:
1. Exposure across our manufacturing businesses, services businesses and corporate functions. Once confirmed, the participants take on key individual contributor roles.
2. Once the first role is complete, participants are given the opportunity to choose their area of specialization, based on their performance in the first role, skill sets and career aspirations.
3. Experience in the specialized area is further strengthened by continued training in corporate finance or other businesses of the Group.
Key elements of the 12-month training period:
1. Over a week-long induction with an opportunity to meet the chief finance officers and senior leaders
2. Mid-year review with panel presentations to senior leaders
3. A confirmation appraisal review at the end of the training period
4. Career tests and career conversations for placements onto final roles
5. A mentoring and buddy process to make career decisions and build familiarity
WHO CAN APPLY:
FLP is open to individuals who are ranker's in their first attempt at the chartered accountancy exams as per the ICAI ranking.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
They follow a 3-stage assessment process:
TRAINING PERIOD:
A 12-month rotational training program in different finance and commercial areas across different sectors of the Group. The program is spread across 3 stints of 4 months each and covers the manufacturing, services and corporate areas with a mandatory stint involving a cross-functional training experience.
